Join us Saturday, May 10, 2008 for a day filled with astronomy-related activities starting at 12 noon at Clark Planetarium. There will be science demonstrations, rides on the lunar gravity simulator, Science On A Sphere demonstrations, a drawing for a telescope, and information about different astronomical societies and programs along the Wasatch Front.
Mike Murray, Clark Planetarium’s Program Manager, will present a “How To Use A Telescope” workshop in the Hansen Dome Theatre at 4:30 pm.
In celebration of Astronomy Day, all astronomy shows in the Hansen Dome Theatre on May 10 from 12:30 to 6:45 pm will be $1. Tickets must be purchased in person the day of the event.
